Did you guys watch the Eclipse the other night? Well I did and it was Beautiful for about the first hour. I tried to take pictures, but as usual trying to take a pic of the moon and get it to turn out good is a task. I guess you have to have a big fancy camera and a lens the size of the moon its self. I tried everything that I could to get a decent pic but to no avail. I put my camera on my tripod, used a remote control, tried 3 different smaller lens, and a super telephoto zoom lens ( couldn't see a darn thing through this lens) maybe they don't work at night, I don't know. Any way this is the best I could get.
/20/2008 Lunnar Eclipse
Her is another pic I took of the moon back in January. It was about 7:15 am. I saw this moon setting when I was taking Millie dog out to do her morning thing. I had to run back and grab my camera before it was gone. I thought it was so pretty.
This is the moon setting behind the hill across the street from my house.

I love your moon pictures! I tried to take some once, and the moon just looked like a little white dot. LOL I gotta try to take some more!
